AOS has recently been appointed to assist the Federal Government’s Dental Relocation Investment Support Scheme (DRISS); administered by Rural Health Workforce Australia. AOS provides expertise in developing and managing capital works programmes, assisting to review and improve applications and identifying and managing risk factors.
The programme encourages dentists to relocate to rural and remote locations, and can provide for both infrastructure and relocation costs. The frst round saw more than 50 applications from all states and territories assessed, which are now moving towards implementation.
A further round is expected in mid-2014.
